The avatar would rub her arms and shoulders; goose bumps shoot up her torso at the mere thought of the passenger she carried. It seemed like the stunning brunette hadn't forgotten about... them, and Orchyd was glad for the reminder but it also brought a not so silent anxiety. She knew the organism needed a new host, and it couldn't be any of these will workers in her company. The very nature of a Klintar made them incapable of merging with magic users. They came from The All Black, which predated the homo magus and everything else involved with humanity. She would keep Zatana's warning in her mind, knowing that she was correct the the green did not like this infection, and the symbiote was non-too-happy about it itself.
"I want to deal with that as soon as I can."
She began to shake her head a little, her eyes closed. Her jaw clenched as she had to listen to symbiote carry on and on about this Brock character that the green skin was meant to find out there somehow.
"It... it says it wants me to find somebody, but there's no time for that. Says it doesn't wanna leave without him." Her green eyes meeting Zatana's blues. "Some guy named Brock." Frustration was in her tone because she felt like she knew more about Eddie than whoever the Fu** Eddie even was. Her voice a little hushed but quick because she knew they had bigger fish to fry but also knew that ridding herself of this infection is also important.
"Say our name!! WE ARE VENOM!" The plant user winced in discomfort as she covered her ears because it was screaming into her mind. It's demand was so powerful, but it also lacked the ability to force her to do its will.
This just before Zatana used her arts to whisk away everybody but the one they were here to find. Man that magic easy button was something else!
As Andromeda looked to Orchyd for answers and the shop keep stood behind the counter with a look of shock and fear in her eyes, teeny pedals opened up within the blooms that wreathed her wrists and neck. The blooms were so tiny you'd need a microscope to see them. They released pheromones. As the wind brushed by Orchyd they did carry a calming effect on everybody present.
"First off I wanted to apologize on my company's behalf." She smiled an embarrassed and humble smirk.
"I know this is all a bit much but I promise you we have the best intentions at heart." She offered the shop keep her kindest smile.
"Secondly, I'm Orchyd, but I doubt the others to need any introduction." Glancing behind her slightly, giving them both a nod to acknowledge them. She'd extend a hand in cordial greeting towards the worker.
Whether or not she shook hands with Orchyd, the green avatar went on "But to cut to the meat, we need to find somebody before the god of speed and magic can find him, but we don't know who he is... Or where he is. But we're betting your mother just might know what Hermes' next move will be. Do you know where to find her? Time is of the essence. As you can see we need to out pace a good of speed and out plan a god of wisdom."
It was no small task and Orchyd didn't like to understate things.
"The state of the world depends on us finding her. Where's Athena?" She asked urgently, but without force.
